February Nailbox - Retro

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another nailbox unboxing for you (see last months box here). This month nailbox didn't announce their theme as usual so I had no idea what to expect. It did say on their website that the box was 'a cracker', but nothing else. Upon opening my box I was greeted by the super colourful card stating a retro-theme. Read on for a closer look at what was inside!

I was super excited to see four polishes in my box. For the last few months, we've received three polishes and two treatments/accessories. All four polishes are also really bold and bright which I am loving!

The first polish I pulled out was Nicole by OPI 'Sky's The Limit', a vibrant shimmery blue. I don't think I own any other Nicole by OPI polishes, so I'm pretty sure this is my first! It does look as though it's fairly sheer but I have yet to swatch it properly.

The second polish to catch my eye was Rimmel 'Wedge of Lime', a bold lime green. I wouldn't say this is quite neon but it certainly is bright! It reminds me of Shrek so I instantly love it and can see myself wearing this a lot during spring.

Next up is Essie 'Flowerista', an absolutely gorgeous plum purple shade. This was from last years spring collection (so fairly recent!) and is apparently very close to being a one coater. This has to be my favourite polish this month and will probably be the first one I wear.

The last polish this month is from Eye Candy London. This is a new to me brand so I look forward to trying it out. We were given 'Juicylicious', a bright orange shade from their Core Colours Neon Collection. I love a good orange! It is a bit brighter than my photo shows.

Our fifth and final product was also from Eye Candy London. Hidden at the bottom of my box was a packet of 3D nail wraps in the design 'All Sorts'. I've never actually used nail wraps but I'm loving the pattern on these so may have to give them a go!

What do you think of this months products? This has to be one of my favourites - I'm really excited for all of the bright, bold colours. I'm sure there would be something for everyone in this box. I think I've said this a few times recently but I think I will get some good use out of everything we received!

Hope to see you in the next post!

  1. Beware Juicylicious (http://www.kerruticles.com/2013/07/eye-candy-juicylicious/) Lovely colour, but bubbled, needed four coats and didn't ever dry even after 18 hours for me!
